The start of the final chapter, which begins with an intermission depicting the fate of the village we left so long ago. Things have not improved.
A lot of this chapter is spent breaking the seals used to increase rank in the guild that are requirements to approach the final fight. I had kind of been neglecting them and had to play a bit of catch up. Along with trying some alternative (and additional) bracer mods from Patience, which I did not get to actually see activate at all!
We do get some fat coin and blow it on a lifetime supply of trinkets. Hopefully it'll be enough to last.
We also encounter an aquatic creature that gives me the heebie jeebies.
