Uploaded files which contain one of more executables. These files are typically utilities to aid in working with ZZT in some way or game specific executables designed to be used with just the included upload. These files are NOT supported by the Museum's file viewer for obvious reasons.
Program Description
This utility locks or unlocks your ZZT games. It uses the basic save lock form of locking, so it doesn't work very well at all. Just +debug and you're through!
Program Description
A TSR program which allows for the creation of key macros. Includes a sample batch file which binds function keys to ZZT's cheats. It's reasonably quick at typing and may be of use when playing worlds which require ?+i to open an inventory.
Program Description
This very useful utility will take screenshots of your ZZT games. Simply load it in DOS and run ZZT. Then hit CTRL+ALT+T and you've got your screenshot in .GIF format! You can also create a batch file to make it run in Windows.
Program Description
A drop in replacement for ZZT v3.2 with an alternative HUD displaying information on things like board exits, stat counts, and more. SolidHUD also makes some gameplay changes to alleviate minor frustrations with ZZT since as quieting down bullet spam, new cheats, and preventing message windows from being closed by shooting.
Program Description
This is what happens when project scope exceeds my grasp. Best I could do in 2.4 hours! (i promise the post-jam version will be better ;_;
Program Description
The definitive version of my Summer 2024 2.4HoZ entry.
Program Description
Basically I took a bunch of screens from old games I did, fixed up the graphics a bit, and added a new mechanism where you punch enough walls on a building and then it collapses, leaving ash behind. Three unique endings!
Super Wall Puncher is part of my Oktrollberfest 2023 game jam entry, which was actually four entire games with an installer that randomly picks one and deletes the others. This is only Super Wall Puncher on its own -- please see separate entries for the others, A Dink in the Grass, Fire 1000, and ZZTorture.

Program Description
The registered version of Super ZZT, generally considered a poor man's ZZT. You'll need it to play any Super ZZT games you might find, though.
Program Description
An older version of an attempted ZZT Clone! This failed to do anything under DOSBox and on an MS-DOS system it would crash moments after loading a world.
Program Description
SuperWAD is a ZZT game editor. It is currently FAR from complete.
Program Description
Tab2zzt is an exe utility running under dos which allow you to translate
tabs to zzt music. You still have to had rythmics, but give this thing a
try, I think it's worth a look. don't forget to read the tab2zzt.hlp file.
Program Description
This will convert guitar tab (.tab) files to .ZZT format. It's a DOS program and gives you the options of either printing the results, dumping them to a file, or displaying them on the screen. Works very well.
