One of two worlds stitched together with submissions to the ZZT board creation contest held in 1991. Stranded on an island of cannibals, your task is to collect 5 purple keys to make it to the underground chamber where an escape method can be found.
Very much an early ZZT world. Some of the boards look quite nice, but the overall quality is not what you would consider to be the "Best". There are plenty of unpleasant puzzles and baffling design decisions can be found everywhere you look. Health is too scarce, and stars are too prevalent. A game I remember more fondly from my youth rather than playing it today.
On the bright side, there are some genuinely creative boards to be found, so it's not all hopeless. The visuals are nice and clearly the game had at least some impact as there are quite a lot of parallels between this and Alexis Janson's "Escape From Cannibal Island" which is a more coherent take (though still quite challenging and a bit flawed) on the concept. The biggest saving grace is that the game has seven purple keys to collect allowing some content to be skipped. The trouble is you won't know what you'd want to skip until you play through it
