Magi: An Epiphany Story
A very ZZT take on the journey of the Magi and the gifts they brought. Playing as each of the three kings, you complete single-board challenges to get the traditional gold, frankincense and myrrh for the first Christmas.
A fun set of puzzle/action boards to round off Christmas season!
Magi: An Epiphany Story was a nice reintroduction to not having played ZZT for about 20 years.
Short and sweet, but engaging and challenging. Also nice to peek at the scripts, which I hadn't really got into in the past. Maybe I should pick it up too.
The gold room was too hard for me, lacking the dexterity to [spoiler redacted], which actually made it a bit more exciting. The myrrh and frankincense boards went smoothly, nice little puzzles.
The boards are beautifully designed and nicely themed, and very timely. (Personal anecdote, being raised neither Christian, nor English, I first encountered the word 'epiphany' in games, and it took me way too long to realize it's a religious holiday.)
Give it a go, and get sucked (back) into ZZT!
