Browse Detail - ZZM Audio
Uploaded files which contain one or more ZZM Audio files in .ZZM format. This is a legacy format created in the late 1990s to allowing listening to ZZT game soundtracks in dedicated ZZM players. These players are inaccurate to ZZT's actual audio systems. The players frequently crash in DOSBox as well making the format poorly supported on modern devices. These are partially supported by the Museum's file viewer in that they can be viewed as text, but cannot be played. New creations should avoid using the ZZM format for a soundtrack release and opt to record from Zeta instead.
Program Description
Plays ZZM music files. Now with better representation of 64th notes, better screen updating, and many other features. Does not appear to list files correctly in DosBox leading to crashes.
Program Description
There has been some controversy on whether or not this utility is the same as the ZZM Studio. It looks the exact same except for the VMUs, but it also has support for 64th notes and all 9 drums!
Program Description
At its current state, it can't do much. However, it sounds to be quite a promising utility. Right now, you can type in music, test it, and save it to a ZZM file.
Program Description
A player program for ZZM audio files. Also includes a program to rip songs from ZZT worlds into ZZM format.
Program Description
Takes a ZZT file and rips the music directly from it, exporting it to a ZZM file that can be played using the player. Includes ZZT Music player and ZZT Music ripper. Does not function under DosBox, though the earlier version 2.0 does.
