What's cooler than Coolness? Not this.
Finding a second ending in Coolness requires a number of specific and often unintuitive actions be performed by the player. Shooting an oven burner to turn your bullet into a gem. Shooting a tiny dot outside the bank to disable its security lasers. Dealing with a bug where you aren't given another gem when you should be, but also having to manage some anti-cheat code that makes the easiest way of acquiring another gem lead to the player being killed automatically.
All of this to access your neighbor's tree house where an experimental and highly radioactive weather machine is hidden. Firing a beam of concentrated heat into the atmosphere to make the day warmer, solely so the pool wil be open. Which stinks for the folks who wanted to go swimming as the Mad Bomber has come to town, set dynamite all over the place, and locked everybody in a poolside cage.
Fletcher Long must find a way to disarm the bombs, and become the town's hero.
It's still neat! The main puzzle at the pool is kind of clever, and I feel like this path is a lot more original than the very much Code Red styled one seen previously, but actually getting on the right path and making it to the end requires players to figure out a lot of things that would take ages to uncover without digging through the game's code instead.
