Parts 2 and 3 of a trilogy (maybe quadrilogy?), the only parts we have. Joe is just a regular kid with a rocket launcher who keeps finding himself in Fred-like situations (see Myth's Fred! series). In Joe Goes To School, aliens are invading and it's up to Joe to save the day as his teachers and principal have been replaced by invaders. There's really not a whole lot to it that Fred! 1 didn't do, though recognizing the similarities is amusing enough. Beyond that, shoot some centipedes and lions and make it back home safely.
The sequel, Joe 3 continues following in the footsteps of Fred! 2, but on a far smaller scale. Sent into the future by a mysterious time rift, Joe must find a way to return to his own time. Though structually similar with its menus and world map, Joe 3 has lot more original content and is that much better for it. Joe can explore the ruins of his old home, wash some windows for money (if he finds the right squeegie), and check out the fun house. Plus, visiting your descendant and proving that you are in fact the famed Joe of legend.
Cute games that don't have any major faults that get in the way of seeing them through, while not really doing anything too impressive to make them feel special. Hardly the worst of the wildcard picks, but not exactly lost gems.
