Livestream of the ZZT worlds:
- "The Castle" by Jakub Plachy
- "Demons Night" by bbz (1997)
- "Prototype: Official Weapon of the 22nd Century" by Lord Kadro (1997)
- Adventure of Bob by Erik Sagen (1996)
A selection of unpreserved ZZT worlds, but this time with the requirement that they do not contain nothing but yellow bordered boards.
Apparently it was a good requirement, as three of the four games played during this stream were a lot of fun! "The Castle" is the winner of this set with its classic style of ZZT gameplay combined with some humor poking fun at the tropes of adventurers making a mess of things for everyone else.
Demon's night is the flop. A neat looking title screen covers up a game that makes very little sense and is difficult to navigate.
Prototype was hardly a great game either, but the places you explore and people you meet make up for it resulting in a pretty silly adventure that probably wasn't supposed to be as funny as it wound up being.
Lastly, Adventure of Bob definitely tries to be funny, and while a lot of its humor isn't as funny as it once may have been, some cool visuals and its own share of (intentional) absurdities via its writing make for a fun playthrough.
