Numerous revisions for today above all else including some more recent versions of older Chris Jong titles, a prominent name in the early 90s.
“The Lost Treasures of Digital Reality” by Chris Jong (1993)
No, not Infocom. Digital Reality. The presentation value on this collection is quite high with MS-DOS based installers and menus! It's also solely installers so the file viewer and play online features won't be much help.
“The Long Voyage (v1.2)” by Chris Jong (1993)
Here you are stranded on a beautiful island. You were taking an ocean boat ride. Then someone took you, and threw you off board! Your beautiful girlfriend Penny, was still on the ship! You must get back on that ship and take care of those cruel people! You hope they don't hurt her!
“The Long Voyage 2: Outerspace (v1.2)” by Chris Jong (1993)
And now in this sequel you're in space!
“War of ZZT (v1.2)” by Chris Jong (1993)
I can say this one is a bit rougher as I played a different version of it. Fight students and aliens? It's WAR.
“Mazi Oog (update)” by WiL (2001)
This game's title screen lettering has lived rent free inside my head for more than 20 years now.
“Mega Color Box 2.1” by XAbbott (1998)
A straightforward toolkit.
“Mosaic! 2 (update)” by Flatcoat Lab (1999)
An updated release of an art collection that fixes numerous typos, features lots of brands, and previews a ZZT Police Quest game with exactly the tone you'd expect it to have.
“Professor Lurifax” by kristomu, Tormod F. Vegge (1995)
Some cleaned up, unreleased, incomplete game written in Norwegian in which you must find a way back to the present! Includes the original copies as well.
“School Sucks 3 (alt)” by Various
A group of skaters have taken over the school. They set up a bomb in the torture room. I have no idea what they mean by this barbaric act of idiocy. You must deactivate the bomb. Here you might need these gems left over from the nuclear reactor in the teachers lounge.
“Turmoil (v1.2)” by clysm (1999)
I love that the title screen is now green instead of yellow due to being opened in the editor while the title screen was animating. Turmoil is a childhood favorite of mine that's a great game for ZZT newcomers.
“Weave 2.2e (Firm)” by WiL (2022)
Program Description
Weave 2.2e is here!
This is the "Firm" Weave, using the same code pathways as ZZT 3.2, with fixed bugs, the same control over colors, messages and sounds as SoftWeave, and some expanded options for your ZZT worlds with a few added commands, directions, and other features. Check out FIRMDEMO for more info.
Okay, it looks like Weave has stabilized a bit and this version hasn't been tweaked in a few weeks. I'll risk it and publish it.
“ZZT Built-ins Acid Test 0.1” by goosedaemon (2010)
Another ZZT test world intended to make it easy to verify intended behaviors in ZZT clones which didn't have the luxury of being able to reference ZZT source code! This one specifically made for Inmatarian's FreeZZT.
