Nine worlds this time because as funny as the joke is, I don't want to leave the Green Herring hanging for too long.
“The Curse of the Empty Queue!” by The Green Herring (2021)
A loving recreation of the upload process on the Museum immortalized in ZZT just in time (hopefully) before a new upload system takes it place. When the queue is empty, I get a moment's respite. This is described as a "curse" apparently.
“Monster Training, Part I (Restored)”
Hmm no text file in this one. A decorruption (and included corrupt original) of a short training world introducing the player to ZZT's various monsters. Thank you for your work whoever did this?
“Hell's Fury” by The Green Herring (2021)
An arena shooter inspired by Demon Attack. Significantly more polished with a proper ending and multiple difficulties.
“Super ZZT: The Card Game (v0.2)” by q2k2k (2014)
A very early in development Super ZZT card game. There's unfortunately so little here that you can't even begin to guess at how the game was planned to be played, but it makes nice use of Super ZZT's viewport to present its play area.
“Puzzle Bobble engine (11/17/2021 version)” by Zdrmonster1 (2021)
Zdrmonster presents: The "Puzzle Bobble" engine for Super ClassicZoo! This isn't exactly a real "Puzzle Bobble" engine, but I think it's close enough. Includes a sample puzzle, toolkit, and example title screen!
“The Origin of Ultrasoft” by BIll Meeks (1995)
The 100% accurate origin story behind the ZZT company Ultrasoft. It's from the mid 90s and thus features Yoshi as part of the company's creation myth.
“The raoctober 2021 Collection” by Zinfandel (2021)
A whopping fifteen worlds (boards?) for an art challenge. Prompts include "Abe Lincoln Fruit Cup", "A bat going all like, 'yah'", and "A dog named Jim".
“Educ 333 Virtual Tour” by KAS et al (2021)
School project! School project! Okay, university level so expect a little more detail than Mission Renaissance or Everglades National Park. Learn about Gee's 13 principles of games including motivation, social issues, and more!
“Pilk Maker '21” by Zinfandel (2021)
You're a heartbreaker, pilk maker, love taker don't you mess around with me.
