Gonna just get these queue to a more easily managed size. AGAIN.
“ZZT Card Game” by verasev (2021)
One of the earliest things I remember in the ZZT community was what a ZZT card game would be like. This was of course in an era of Magic and Pokemon and countless other games trying to get a piece of the pie.
So here's one you can play with just a standard deck of cards! Choose an encounter, expend some resources and collect your reward. See the text file for instructions.
“Claw's Adventure” by Jesse Dolan (1995)
An utter rat's nest of a game from what I've seen on asie's game. Congrats to all who figure out how to navigate it. Step one is to find the correct board the game is meant to start on. (It's "Pipes".)
“Punnland” by Heejang Lee, Robert Guffey (1997)
Puunland, sometimes called Punnland, sometimes referred to by the folks witnessing it as Pwnland is a game very much inspired by the classic game Aceland. At times a little too inspired as it starts lifting boards from the source.
“Jet Adventure 1+2” by Morphman
Two Jet Adventures in one file! A mixture of Space Invaders style shooting (à la Dogfight), and traditional action. Lots of fun ship designs.
“Flint's ZZT Town” by Flint Million (1995)
Explore a fairly bizarre town. Try not to get your friend shot.
“The Suckiest Game Ever” by Matt Perrotti
The screenshots cover every single board. It's doing its best to live up to its title.
“The Adventures of Bob” by Booth (1996)
"You have been hit on the head and can't remember anything!" Another town exploring game where the non-town action boards seem a bit basic.
“Cyborg Squad” by JDewbre
A maze chase game where you need to grab circles and escape killer cyborgs. Credited partially to Atari but what game it's specifically recreating is lost on me at the moment.
