At first I was mildly bothered by a 9th file being uploaded as I was getting ready to clear the queue, but then I realized it gives me an excuse to not have to get screenshots for the epilogue to Phoebus Project before finishing the game myself. So do check that one out if you have completed the main game already! (It's been added to the Itch page as its own download.)
Other than that today brings us some unmodified originals of games courtesy of donated disks and a previously missing Weekend of ZZT contest's entries!
“SF Mag Advertisement” by Sean Fitz (1996)
It is what it says it is. WHEN PEOPLE SEE YOUR GAME THEY WILL DOWNLOAD IT :-)
“The Caves of Carl N’ Chris” by Carl Farra, CS Wallace (2015)
A game consisting entirely of slider puzzles? I'd be terrified if there were more than two levels. I guess Carl made one and Chris the other.
Wait a second, this isn't from like 1992. This is from 2015! The "company" is "NYU Game Center". It has its own page and it looks like there are more ZZT games here.
“But Can I...?” by Agent Orange (2021)
The latest art collection by Agent Orange! Easily enjoyed via the Museum's file viewer. (Psst, use Shift+B there to toggle bright colored background support.)
“Cowquest (original)” by Andrew Wagster, Roberta Ettel (1993)
An unmodified original copy of Cowquest. Now with more yellow borders and slightly different colors.
“The Dream 1-3 (original)” by Andrew Wagster (1993)
An unmodified original copy of The Dream. Now with more yellow borders and slightly different colors.
“Assasin 1 (original)” by Andrew Wagster (1993)
Guess.
“Weekend of ZZT October 2005 [Exception/Fascism]” by Ando, Dr. Dos, Kjorteo, Nedemai, Nondescript, Stak (2005)
A 72-hour ZZT competition with two serious entries out of five. Scores and host judging commentary included.
Pardon the slurs. In the filenames even.
“The X: Art Fart's First Adventure” by Eric Vealey
Lastly, the first "Art Fart" game where your goal is to find your girlfriend's dog that got lost in your mansion.
