Bonus stream with Geight! A lot of unexpected tech issues in this one. Games I've known to work just fine were crashing and most games refused to see a sound card which limited our options a bit!
(5:24) Miami Golf - The world's worst golfers attempt to get a ball in a hole at 3 seconds per frame.
(16:21) Bass Tour - A failed attempt at doing some fishing.
(18:37) Artillery Combat - Some real competition! A 1v1 artillery game with some really lopsided terrain generation and winds so strong that you better hope the round favors you to win.
(35:13) One-Nil - A soccer team management simulation. Pretty inscrutible, but we did manage to get to watch a match played out in real time using text graphics which was hard not to love!
(49:03) Cocktial Mixer - A database of drinks you can make at home. Including a few jokes.
(55:36) Your Birthday/Wedding Almanac - Find out what happened the day you were born/married. If you can!
(1:00:00) Jill of the Jungle - Geight tries out this classic platformer. Strangely the game would not detect a sound blaster and we got to hear the incredibly long and shrill PC speaker sound effects which really do a number to the game's presentation.
(1:16:34) Lyra - Trying to confirm our sound issues, and getting a PC speaker only music program. Next.
(1:17:48) Brix - Functional sound! Geight thought this one would be too easy, but it did not last.
(1:27:17) World Quest - An incredibly slow scrolling shooter that felt like flying through mud. Cool name though. Also a practically hidden UI of gray on dithered grays.
(1:33:20) The Incredible Machine - Another classic puzzle game, until it randomly crashed on us!
(1:36:33) MacBlaster - The saltiest Space Invaders clone around. Shoot Macintosh computers with your IBM PC.
(1:40:58) Hangman Jr. - Hangman for kids, which in this case means "infinite guesses". You're shown a picture of an animal and have to spell its name. Some great clipart, especially when you win.
(1:46:35) Chemical For windows - You'd have to be some sort of chemist to figure out how to do anything in this one.
(1:49:53) Luna - Why do we call the star-sign "Cancer" when we could have been calling it Crabba this whole time???
(1:52:49) Tenkey - Why did we launch a calculator program???
(1:54:33) Dracula - A really cool text mode based on the later chapters of the novel. Find clues and items to locate and destroy Dracula, but try not to get bit by spiders. This seems like one that would be a lot of fun to really learn how to play properly.
(2:04:56) Wall Street Raider - An economy game, which appropriately crashed.
(2:08:37) Ford Simluator I - Ending it with some fine driving of some Ford automobiles. We still can't get over how good this actually is despite being absolutely useless at providing a real sense of what it's like to drive a Bronco or a Mustang. We each did a lap around a test track and competed for the best time!
