Let's see if I can get this out the door before I leave for the rest of the weekend.
It feels like it's been aged since the last publication pack even though it hasn't even been a month, which is pretty much the rough schedule. With all those WiL worlds I've been keeping extra busy, but now we're winding down and back to normalcy, especially thanks to taking a WiL break and playing through the newly released remake Extincticide instead.
In fact, for once not even half the games here are credited to WiL, thanks to his hosting of the first in a series of 2.4 Hours of ZZT jams. That gives a whole lot of games (several have yet to be uploaded to the Museum) all revolving around the idea of a 100 ammo limit of some form. A lot of really enjoyable games in this set because of it, and not just half-started worlds from decades ago! Be sure to check them out, and don't be afraid to join us in ~April for the next jam!

“Extincticide: The Most Ancient Atrocity” by Joseph Austin (2025)

A story-driven, comedic time-travel adventure to save the dinosaurs... from themselves. Absolutely ludicrous concept and story beats brought to you by my eight year old self, remastered and updated by my final form.
A very entertaining adventure/comedy telling the story of "You" (that's the player's actual name) and Buzz, who travel back to the age of the dinosaurs and learn that it's not exactly like we imagined. I recently streamed a playthrough and had a ton of fun with it. It's really got that frantic energy of a story being told by a kid where cool and exciting things are happening at every moment, and you shouldn't question it.

“A ZZTer's Examination of Conscience” by Agent Orange, PogeSoft (2025)

Lent world! Lent world! This is the first time I've ever seen a ZZT world recommend players be familiar with ZZT Syndromes and Catholicism. Discover your responsibilities to the ZZT community and the responsibilities of the ZZT community to you?

“The Castle of Count 100” by WiL (2025)

Program Description
Made for the winter '25 144 minutes jam.
The first of several submissions to the Winter '25 2.4 Hours of ZZT jam. Each game was made over the course of 144 minutes, while adhering to a "100 Ammo" theme in which players would get 100 ammo and the game would end when the ammo ran out.
WiL's take sees you fighting against a count in four different arenas, needing to land 100 shots to defeat him. Luckily your ammo is less a finite resource and more a representation of this count's health, as missed shots replenish your supply.
Some snazzy backgrounds and interesting takes on classic ZZT run and gun boss battles that take advantage of Weave's flexibility.

“howa bouta soma ammonotino” by Snorb (2025)

Program Description
This is what happens when you get too ambitious. Again.
A parody of... Tour? Well, it had to happen at some point I suppose.
This jam version of the game may have run into some time management issues.

“howa bouta soma ammonotino++” by Snorb (2025)

Program Description
The definitive version of my Winter '25 2.4 Hours of ZZT entry.
Play this one instead. *Please.*
A cleaned up post-jam release!
Fight and think your way through parodies of the various sample boards featured in Tour. Try not to be shredded alive, bored to death by Keygan, or just plain corpsed up in the crossfire of a turf war between rival gangs of tigers!
And of course, make sure to conserve your ammunition.

“The 100 Ammo Dungeon” by Dr. Dos (2025)

My own entry. Tackle seven three single-screen dungeons in classic ZZT style to get a high score and enter the hall of champions*! Each dungeon has a different theme, with optional challenges to accomplish for bonus points, if you're willing to risk the health and ammo to do so!
*not implemented

“The 101 Beans Against the Bears” by RT-55J (2025)

A clever survival game about defending a magic beanstalk from marauding bears. Your ammo consists of non-magical beans which grow into brambles (breakables) once fired. Trick wave after wave of bears into walking into them to make it to the next day, and watch your beanstalk grow.

“Winter '25 2.4HoZZT Results” by Various, WiL (2025)

Program Description
To play the games, visit this URL:
https://itch.io/jam/24-hours-jam-h125-circuit/entries
Additionally, on the conclusion of all three jams, a ZZT Parade including every entry will be provided to the Museum.
A compilation of all the feedback shared with one another for the 2d4h jam. Includes words by the game's authors as well!

“Unusual” by WiL (2000)

Insomnia turned into an essay written in ZZT. A young WiL writes about complacency, pain, and funny symbols.

“BKZZTer's Anonymous” by WiL (2000)

Some rare specimens of BKZZT games compiled into one file. Includes five short games created under extremely strict time limits, with most being made in just twenty minutes.
"Story of Ludwig": Ludwig meets an odd stranger as a child and returns to the same spot years later as an adult, just as the stranger asked, not knowing what will await him.
"Shadows": The player follows a pair of glowing red eyes into a dark cave, and has a few regrets afterwards. A single board dungeon crawl where you can see the Four Seasons influence in the messages for collecting ammo and attacking foes.
"Soap Bubble": An engine about keeping a bubble aloft for as long as possible. It is not at all easy.
"The French!": A story about preparing goose liver for a fancy dinner, followed by a dig at the educational system.
"The Paper People": Similar to "Shadows", a dungeon crawler about some nightmarish creatures and how to defeat them. Now with two gameplay boards!

“I Am a Living, Breathing, Walking, Talking Zebra Fart (v1.1)” by WiL (2001)

A trippy journey through a grid of boards featuring a locked hymnal to be opened. Keys are found on each board, accompanied by some art to ponder.

“TinyMon Chronicles” by WiL (1999)

A Pokémon fan game/spinoff with some very grand plans. Explore a newly discovered island filled with Tinymon, (that's what the locals call Pokémon,) exploring caves, forests, and cities while collecting Tinymon by beating them in fights. Your own Tinymon won't help you (they're not implemented), and even if they did, the game was planned to have the player do most of the fighting themselves.
The game is split across a number of worlds, with passwords to record captures and items found suggesting that players were to expect a very big adventure had the game been completed.

“The Man (Intro)” by WiL (2002)

The opening to a horror game with some neat use of 1-bit art for its introduction. Why are you wearing a helmet with tubes coming out of the top connected to who knows what? Who knows! Followed by a few outlines of an empty cavern.

“The Pressman” by King Bat (1995)

Mayor Huth is in the midst of quite the scandal, and you're looking for the juicy the details. Arrange an interview with Mr. Krinkles, the oldest man alive and friend of the mayor to see if you can get him to spill some gossip.
The game also loves the band Primus, including a concert as well as trivia about their albums if you want to succeed, so best of luck.
