Some mysterious and not so mysterious worlds!
Really fun kid making a game energy in the first one, "Xaq's Very Mysterious Dungeon". It's a first time adventure with yellow borders intact, but it's got so much effort put into entertaining the player through dialog that it's hard to not love. Escape from the dungeon, with the help of the game's author of course, and deal with all kinds of misbehaving objects that will make your life more difficult. A very cute game.
The sequel, "Xaq's Mysterious World" reigns things in a little, forming a coherent story about Greek letters (Omega in particular) plotting to take over the world. The player's job is to put a stop to that, traveling the world fighting off alphas, betas, and sigmas decades before those words made you wonder about the person using them. It's a silly adventure with another set of weird characters, an author who continues to help you out, and some unexpected dark clouds when traveling through the world post-nuclear blast. Both games were a treat to play and made this stream a lot of fun for everyone involved. This is the kind of high quality you hope to see when a creative kid gets into making games.
Lastly, "RPG", which is another early effort, by a different author. Duncan (possibly the king) has tasked you with defeating the dark ninja that has been terrorizing the down. So you shoot half the people in town yourself to make progress and track him down. It's a very odd game where the author is trying their hardest, and having a hard time finding a foothold for the game. It ends, as is so often the case, with a farewell to ZZT and a hello to MegaZeux. Best of luck kid.
