The last of the Oktrollberfest streamed games. (But note, that doesn't mean _every_ entry was able to be streamed. "Magic Quest", and more accurately the game it hides were something I was unable to stream under Linux.)
First we start with "d" or "1D" depending on Kaddar's mood when asked what the name is. This one has quite a lot going for it, including its central gimmick of taking place across a line. Despite boards being a single row tall, Kaddar manages to include both puzzle and action sequences, with a little creative coding. You'll fight zoo animals ('natch), answer riddles, block blink walls, and even play a 1D platformer!
There are also a lot of burgers to make. And pizza. and zeepza. (The sauce is on the bottom).
A game about multi-dimensional travel, fucking up, and attempting to start a new life in a new dimension only to realize it's incredibly easy to accidentally murder yourself.
An excellent game that feels weird, unexpected, and brilliant. Easily one of the highlights of the jam in my eyes.
Then a sequel to The Banged Up Banana Truck, a strange romp through just off the road fields, forests, and small businesses as you try to repair your truck and finish hauling those bananas. Except this time, it's all been done, and now with no purpose left to serve, the world of the Banana Truck is one of decay. Everything is decript, dying, and broken. There is no truck. Are you long for this world? Is this world even real?
