Ah, the old make room for Oktrollberfest publication pack. A time honored tradition of the queue getting perilously close to a second page, if not already getting there. Except this year there's not as much to make room for, as the jam has two MegaZeux games and two ZZT games that need to be played in the browser for reasons that are currently unknown to me.
Either way, there's still plenty to be published with a number of freshly preserved Mark McIntyre games, some bizarre yellow bordered games from long ago, and another crop of strange worlds courtesy of BigtimeDudeProductions.

“Red Deviance” by Dr. Dos (2024)
My incredibly rushed and minimally tested entry for this year's Oktrollberfest. Fight mutant centipedes, but watch how you shoot them lest you make things worse! Features three characters with different rules for scoring points that can be changed between levels.
“Mini-Adder Engine” by Vacek (2024)
A little adding engine based on the Quick-Adder, a hand-held adding machine from the 70s. Select your currency (if applicable) and begin counting!
“Chowder 2 Full Version: Whatever This Even Is” by BigtimeDudeProductions (2024)
A sequel to the 2009 Chowder ZZT game that had everyone asking "Kids still make ZZT games?" When Chowder is captured by a monster in a cooking pot, only Panini cares enough to rescue him, putting her on a trippy adventure to confront her insecurities and finally win the affections of the man she loves. I think.
“The Gauntlet of ZZT” by BigtimeDudeProductions (2024)
Can you survive the gauntlet? Another strange entry in the saga of BigtimeDudeProductions.
“FULL VERSION: The Legend of Zelda: Great Eclipse of Termina” by BigtimeDudeProductions (2024)
The evil wizard Majora is planning to destroy Hyrule using the power of the eclipse. Perhaps with Ganon. As it is written, only Link can defeat whoever it is in need of a beatdown.
“Joshuwin's Super ZZT” by Joshuwin
A chaotic mess of anything and everything the author could come up with. Expect lots of enemies, confusing passages, and rooms filled with 100+ enemies. Hope you can find one of the boards with ammo!
“Cyberia 2: Return of Cyberia”
One of the weirder rediscovered titles. Somewhat similar to Joshuwin's game, but a little more developed in its own way. Piles of items and monsters, lots of invisible mazes, but also some giant bosses with names like CYBERMOLD, CYBERNICO, and of course CYBERBOOB with acid milk attack. Surely it would all make sense if we had the first game to give us some context.
“Attack of the Snargles (original)” by Brian McFee, Keebler (1993)
Older revision of Attack of the Snargles a cheese-filled alien invasion adventure. Now with more coding errors! I remember the bugfix version being reasonably fun and a good example of 90s random humor.
“Weird” by Mark McIntyre (1995)
A very short game about escaping the house of the infamous Dr. Weird. Shoot some lions, admire the fancy carpeting, dodge a few spinning guns, and escape Dr. Weird's maze. Very straightforward, and more polished than some of the more yellow bordered titles in this pack.
“Math” by Mark McIntyre (1995)
Answer multiple choice arithmetic problems in order to reach exotic locations like the castle and the rocket ship. Suitable for small children that you won't mind disliking you.
“Pablo” by Mark McIntyre (1995)
Pablo's good friend Ramone has gone missing! You must find him! Search around your house, the castle, the river, and delve into the dungeons to find your friend. Features some nice looking gameplay boards and a very direct inspiration from Dungeons of ZZT.
“Power Ranger Bash” by Zack Scott (1995)
You have been hired to kill off the power rangers (how you hate them). Use your provided with a napalm neutrino blaster to fight their their homes and I guess Angel Grove to rid the world of those do-gooders for good! If you do, you will be handsomely rewarded.
