Just a whole bunch of whatever, and a case of the random sampling paying off fairly well!

We begin with "Anarchy", by the author of "Fred and Jeremy", an infamous discovery that was a really cool time-loop game until it got rather uncomfortable. Luckily, Anarchy is a lot simpler, YOU ARE JOHNNY ROTTEN LEAD SINGER OF THE SEX PISTOLS AT ONE TIME and one of your recordings has been stolen. You embark on a quest to find it before being distracted by a woman in a burning high-rise calling for help and throwing her son to you in hopes of saving his life.

Fortunately, Johnny Rotten can fly in this game which makes things a lot easier for him. It's a number of baffling moments and strange board designs before it suddenly comes to a complete stop as the game is unfinished, but at least the truth behind the woman in the building can be discovered beforehand!

With the unexpected end (the game wasn't marked as incomplete originally) we shuffle the schedule to get the known incomplete game "Audivio" out of the way next. Despite it too coming to a halt, this is a really cute game that all of us would have loved to see developed further. Your spaceship has crashed on a planet filled with fellow survivors of similar accidents over the years, and now you seek a way to make it off the planet and back home. To do this you need to explore a high-tech town doing favors for people to build trust (measured in score) which will let you gain access to special ID cards to enter new areas. The format is good, and the world is open ended with a number of admittedly fairly empty boards to explore, looking for items to collect, people in need of help, and places of interest. It's a very pleasant game about making things better for people, and you can feel the positive vibes all around.

It's still dangerous though, and even has an arena to fight in, so you'll still need to carry ammo if you want to survive!

Then to "Joshuwin's Super ZZT", a not-Super ZZT game whose title screen boasts that you'll never win. This is likely to be the case as what we have here is a very disorganized yellow bordered action game with excessive stars, nonsensical passage destinations, plenty of potential soft-locks, and a critical lack of ammo. It's the kind of game best experienced on stream with an audience that can share your confusion.

Lastly, "Power Ranger Bash", a rare instance of a ZZT game taking an anti-Power Ranger stance. You have been hired, by unspecified people, to destroy the power rangers, starting with Jason to remove their leader. You get a pretty weird yellow bordered game filled with giant centipedes, Town inspired rooms, and a surprising number of stores which are closed today. You'll visit the red ranger's mansion, the black ranger's centipede-infested home, and eventually fight what I assume are clones of the blue ranger before you finally finish the group off and earn yourself a vacation.

Were you Goldar? Another of Rita's monsters? Just some jerk? Nothing is explained so we were making our own fun coming up with a plot.

Oh, also Barny is there. Not Barney, Barny. He's locked up in jail, and while some say it's cruel, others point out that he did kill two people one time. And he seems ready to kill again. But that's just Barny, you know how he gets.
