Eggs? He has them?
More ZZT Yoshi fangame goodness. This time, with a little less Star Wolf and a lot more Link's Adventure. Some yoshi eggs have been stolen by Bowser and it's up to Yoshi to find them as Mario and gang are sleeping. You get to explore your usual Yoshi village filled with characters that own giant TVs and Super Nintendo consoles, use their toilets, and wash your hands afterwards. Typical stuff.
But when you're outside of town, rather than go through levels with names from Super Mario World, you get some more Zelda-style dungeons. The first of which is unfortunately lifted completely from the ZZT game Link's Adventure and given new colors. (The author does at least confess to their "borrowing" of the boards.) Luckily, the rest of the levels are original designs, and show that the author can do a reasonable job going for the style of Link's Adventure without continuing to copy. The plant jungle level in particular is a lot of fun to navigate.
Sadly, a number of bugs and other issues with key colors being reused in levels and outside of them can make it a bit difficult to figure out where to go next, with the game requiring cheating to complete.
Otherwise, it's one of the more playable Yoshi ZZT games out there, and given the sheer number at this point, that's got to say something.
