Themes were Plagiarism ("borrow" a board from a classic ZZT world) and The Best Intro Ever (make an introduction with no game to play afterwards)
Beginning with "Lazanya", a game in which you scour the land for the sacred ingredients: tomato sauce, noodles, cheese, and ricotta. Featuring fun traditional gameplay, excellent artwork of king Jarfield, and a bad case of the Mondays.
"Timing" uses the least popular board from Dungeons as its basis, demanding precision long distance shooting that keeps upping the ante from board to board by adding more frustrating obstacles into the mix. Soon you're dodging lions, trying not to shoot dragons, blocking spinning guns, or in total darkness as you continue to aim for that awful target.
"here he comes" goes for intro only, as our wayward hero is ready to set off into the world, collecting everyone's final goodbyes before they leave. All the while we're treated to versus of a haunting melody about the dancing mantis. Be afraid.
"Saved on the Wrong Board" brings players into the AKWare toolkit, highlighting its threat for non-company members use of the infamous AKWare Impromptu Quiz object. Accused of breaking the law, you must prove your innocence by demonstrating knowledging of patents, trademarks, copyright, and fair use before the Law!
"The Three Lakes" takes another iconic original ZZT board, but expands on it in a rather different direction. What lurks beneath the surface of the water? Dive in to each of the lakes to collect treasure and power ups while avoiding dangers! Be careful, whether you float or sink is based on whether you're in a bubble or not!
"A Dink In The Guts" is a bonus dungeon using the Dink engine seen in Oktrollberfest. A yucky dungeon full of monsters and bio-horror needs cleaning out! All while raising the question of whether or not you can steal from yourself.
"Under Sea Gull" also goes for introductions. Atlantis Morriscode, the genius gull who speaks perfect English (with a British accent) is begrudgingly called to duty to seek out the lost scepter of SKRULLBOT300x in an underwater cavern. Don your wetsuit and dive in. If they make you at least.
"Snowjob" (recorded later, and spliced into this VOD) is built from a long abandoned and forgotten project. Couldn't tell you which board was recycled for this, but dang if it ain't a fun entry. Travel to a romantic getaway with your partner. Get snowed in. Start shoveling the road out. Some really clever use of gems, forest, and a boulder snow shovel to clear the road that goes from being a zen activity to a race to shovel snow out of the way of a moving car before it crashes into it, or you.
