Picking up where we left off, halfway across the country with everyone really mad at us and- oh wait we died.
I mean, it was a cooler way to go than last time.
Luckily this game has three options for each crew slot! And the third time's the charm as the most exciting run yet manages to make it to the Portofino! Despite run ins with a broken advertisement that refuses to leave until we guess what it's for, our pluckiest crew yet brings a new and successful strategy in this cross-country race: what if we always went as fast as possible?
Despite pricey fuel, busted tires, and having to install a pocket dimension in our trunk, the three girls manage to twirl some signs, discover ancient artifacts on USB sticks, and avoid encounters with any unruly mobs!
Really, it's a hell of a game. An approachable, funny, and unexpectedly challenging experience with some real satisfaction in making it through. Different crew combos keep things from getting stale, and can leave you wondering what would happen if you did have the catgirl on your crew for this encounter... the scenarios are wild and varied, funny, and on-the-nose. Despite being a race, everything you do is taken at your own pace, with plenty of time to sit and think on what decisions you make, though often times if you don't have the right skill or item for the event at hand, you're just along for the ride.
Fantastic work by WiL and a definite must play. Perhaps in the future we'll try a Super Car run...
