Happy DOSember everyone! It's time to clear out the queue lest these Oktrollberfest entries spoil. It's a smaller batch of titles this time, but even so there are still a few surprises. We've also got a fun little shooter intended to be featured in an upcoming title, as well as a old-school ZZTer making a generous donation of a collection of abandoned projects from ye olden times.

“Wrong” by horrible lizard (2025)
It's wrong! An Oktrollberfest entry where you need to find a key to open a door and reach your wine. Getting that key is just the beginning though as you navigate a strange world filled with wizards, tiles, Labubu, and more! And yet every time you feel like you're getting somewhere ...it seems like you're misremembering something?
“Play ZZT” by Dr. Dos (2025)
My own Oktrollberfest entry! Spoilers: It's not a Wake Up And Save the World game. It's a gosh dang deckbuilder (dicebuilder). Challenge the iconic worlds of ZZT and see if you can survive long enough to claim their purple keys. Use the gems you find to purchase newer and better dice, and hope luck is on your side and your sister won't catch you playing games on her computer again!
“PART1 of ZZT” by Charbomber (2025)
A classic troll-game filled with a number of ways deceive players into thinking they know how to solve its obstacles. If you press up. You go to Hell. Can you survive to the end of part 1? Or will you be slain by the legendary blade Sunrise, as wielded by a centipede whose autobiography is destined to become a best seller?
“Daryl F. Gates' Police Quest: Not-Quite Oktrollberfest Update” by PogeSoft (2025)
Building atop GorgonButt's Daryl F. Gates' Police Quest parody of the notoriously low-quality AOL-era ZZT Police Quest game, it's now time to actually nail that perp who's been drugging up the place with all those drugs. Remember your training, find the evidence, and make it out of this den of sin alive!
“Samantha's Sister Wants a Bottle of Milk Right This Second” by RT-55J (2025)
An Oktrollberfest entry created in just a fraction of the allotted time. Samantha's baby sister is crying, her parents are completely konked out, and so it's up to her to navigate a kitchen designed for people more than 3 feet tall, procure the formula, and take on some responsibility. A very cute game.
“Space of Spades” by Joseph Austin (2025)
Program Description
This is just a small weave experiment I did as a minigame for my upcoming sequel to my previous game, Extincticide. Just felt like releasing it on its own :)
It's a space invaders type of shooter with the kind of circular shooting you get from asteroids.
A little Weave engine showcase intended to be used as a mini-game in part two of Extincticide. Spade invaders drop in from the stars, and you must rotate the turret of your stationary cannon to shoot them down from seven possible angles. As a backup, a trio of shields can be maneuvered to block an invader, but they won't survive the process. See if you can survive this assault!
“the Lab (Flatcoat Lab's abominations)” by Flatcoat Lab, Madeku (2025)
And lastly, something nice and historical! Flatcoat Lab returns to ZZT after a 25 year hiatus, awarding our patience with a collection of long abandoned games.
Coincidentally enough, these include some Police Quest ZZT games, which offer the choice of being the cop or the robber. There are some nice city-scapes on display as well as some art boards to help tell the story.
It also includes what was finished of Flame Frost Blade, a very hyped RPG with a very short demo released in 1999. Again, some very pretty boards are to be found within. And like many hyped ZZT worlds of the day, it turns out there wasn't actually a whole lot there, but what else is new?
